My Life Lately Through iPhone Pics!

I have way too many pictures!! I decided to make a few collages of my pictures instead of posting them individually. I don't want to overload your senses with my stunning photography! Just kidding!

I have been non-stop busy since I got home from my European trip. Sounds kind of glam, no?? Unfortunately, my dark under-eye circles beg to differ. I think I need to sleep for an entire day in order to catch up.

My very best friend got married this past weekend!
I have a lot more pictures, but I decided to just share a few highlights. I spent a great deal of time with Lauren and her family last week. I went up a few days before the wedding to help out with the preparations. We also went to a very fancy bridesmaid luncheon the day before the wedding. The pictures above are from the luncheon. It was incredibly Martha Stewart-esque, but I loved every minute of it. I actually secretly read Martha Stewart Living while I'm waiting for my turn in the grocery line. I think it's one of my guilty pleasures.

We had such a lovely time while munching on a watermelon & feta cheese salad and the most delicious yeast rolls I've ever tasted. Our main course was a south western chicken salad. I ate every bit of my food. For dessert, they served a key lime pie tart & homemade blackberry sorbet. Yum yum!! My mouth is watering a little just thinking about it.

The big day was BEAUTIFUL!!
And so was the bride!!! I actually did the bridal makeup, and I was really proud of it. I will post more pictures later on. Lauren had never worn false eyelashes, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the lovely world of falsies! I used a very pretty Smashbox lilac & pearl eyeshadow along with a subtle cat-eye liquid eyeliner. I filled in her eyebrows with Anastasia in brunette and used Bare Minerals mineral foundation on her face and under-eyes. I stained her lips with Tarte lipstain in Enchanted & gave her cheeks a little glow with Tarte cheekstain. I dusted the apples of her cheeks with NARS in super orgarm. Can you tell that I'm obsessed with Sephora?? AND she looked AMAZING, Lovelies!

The ceremony was so enchanting & lovely. I started crying when she started walking down the aisle with her dad. I've never cried at a wedding before either! I'm so happy for you, Lovely Lauren!!

We went to see Hairspray!!
Shortly after Lauren's wedding, I jetted off with my sister to Austin, Texas to meet up with some other friends. Trina, one of my closest friends from choir, was having her bachelorette party in Austin. We went to see Hairspray at the Zach Theatre. All of the Hairspray pictures above were taken by Kirk Tuck. I snapped a few pictures myself but all of them were pretty dark & yucky.

The show was soooo adorable!! I have always loved Hairspray! I think it's one of my favorite musicals.

I'm very happy to be home! I'm such a home-body, and I adore being in my own home. Plus, I really missed Zeth, George, and Apollo!

What have you been up to lately??

Lots of positive vibes & lovely thoughts!
