WOW!! What a week! It's been amazing, crazy, extra-busy, and filled with some stressful moments. I have to admit that I'm not always the best at handling my stress. I really do try to be cool & calm in the face of stress, but I've also been guilty of the oh-so-attractive breakdown.
One of our dogs gave us a really big scare on Wednesday. Angel, our toy fox terrier rescue, started vomiting uncontrollably and bleeding in her feces. It was so scary! We rushed her to the vet, got in a big fight with the vet about the bill, and ended up leaving her overnight for observation & treatment. Thankfully, she made a complete recovery!! She's been romping all over our house like her normal self.
I've also been feeling a little bit under the weather for the past few days. I'm prone to bladder and kidney infections, and I'm really afraid that I may be come down with one. BLAH! It's possible that I'm just be really tired. I think I could really use an entire day of sleep & relaxation. One of the ways I cope with stress is to reflect on all the amazing things in my life. Plus, I realized that it's been ages since I've composed a gratitude list.
