I know that I've been away from the blogging world for about a week now. It was sort of an impromptu break from my weekly blogging schedule. And the time away from reading and writing blogs was actually very nice (although I did occasionally sneak onto my favorite blogs for a quick read) and I got a lot of personal things accomplished.
I've been very distracted these past few weeks with something sort of wonderful. It's really nothing to talk about right now, but just know that I'm starting to feel like my old self again. My depression, which set in when my health started getting bad in April, has nearly dissipated completely from my life. I have found myself daydreaming, skipping happily, and singing in the shower! All of these are signs that my true cheerful self is emerging from the doom and gloom.
I've been keeping myself busy with Janel's 30 Day blog challenge! It has really inspired me! I am so behind on uploading my journal entries, but here are my first two pages:
Day One: The prompt was to create a page introducing ourselves and incorporating our names into the page. I used lots of colors and shapes because I felt like that best represented my personality. The squirrel just makes me giggle.
Day Two: The prompt was to make a page about the best part of our day. It was sort of difficult for me because I pride myself on never having the same day twice. I always try to make my days different and wonderful adventures. So I chose my snuggle time with my cat (don't tell my dog, George!)
